Parts Explanation

Click the “Parts Explanation” in the left navigation bar and the interface is as below:

Left side is parts diagram, select viewpoint on the upper right and the lower right displays part explanation text the mouse points.

Operation Steps

1.Select Viewpoint

Select observation object and there are “Cab Mode”, “Walk Mode”, “Fly Mode” and “Whole Observation Mode”. And “Cab Mode” has four choices “Up”, “Down”, “Left” and “Right”. After selecting, the program will shift to that viewpoint for observation.

2.Select Part

Move the mouse to the part and the mouse changes into hand-shape. The lower of part browser box displays part name and the lower right of the page displays detailed part explanation. (Take “cab” as an example)

Exercise

Click the “Exercise” in the left navigation bar and select test type.

Click “OK” and display exercise interface:

The left side is browser window and the right side is viewpoint shift.

Browser Mode Selection: “Roam” and “Translate”

Reset: Restore default viewpoint

Operate in 3D window, click “Save Record” after completion and upload the operation to the server.

Automatic Demonstration

Automatic demonstration interface is as below

Operation demonstration for observation: Shipping Operation and Discharging Operation

During demonstration, refer to the prompts lower right.

Shipping Operation

Enter the system and select “Exercise” in the test operation. Select “Shipping Operation” in the “Test Type Selection” of the floating window and click “OK” to enter shipping operation.

Step 1. Select “Cab” in the left “Viewpoint Shift” and select “ON” and “Sling Oil Pump ON” key in the right control screen to prepare bridge crane operation. ("↑"-Look Forward; "↓"-Look Down; "←"-Look Left; "→"-Look Right; "9"-ON; "0"-OFF; "-" Sling Oil Pump ON; "+"- Sling Oil Pump OFF)

Step 2. Swing control lever to control the crane movement and sling up and down. ("W"-Crane Forward; "S"-Crane Backward; "P"-Sling Down; ";"-Sling Up)

Step 3. Shift the viewpoint to “Down” to ensure the sling above the bridge crane bottom beam. Forward the crane above the hatch and control the sling movement. Align the hatch to the lock hole and fall on the hatch slightly. After implantation, the detection lamp is on. 

Step 4. After implantation, press the lock key of upper rocker in right hand (the default unlocking lamp (green) is off and locking lamp (red) is on). Swing the rocker, lift the hatch cover locked, move the crane and ensure the bottom beam lamp is on (means sling is above the bottom beam). Hoist the hatch cover to the back of rear beam of bridge crane and put on the ground slightly. ("O"-Lock Key; "{"-Unlock Key)

Step 5. Control the crane (sling), hoist the container on the trailer and move to the upper ship. Put the container into the cabin depending on the high and low trough. 

Step 6. After container being secured and implantation detection lamp being on, unlock and hoist the sling. Shipping operation finished. 

Discharging Operation

Enter the system and select “Exercise” in the test operation. Select “Discharging Operation” in the “Test Type Selection” of the floating window and click “OK” to enter discharging operation.

Step 1. Select “Cab” in the left “Viewpoint Shift” and select “ON” and “Sling Oil Pump ON” key in the right control screen to prepare bridge crane operation. ("↑"-Look Forward; "↓"-Look Down; "←"-Look Left; "→"-Look Right; "9"-ON; "0"-OFF; "-" Sling Oil Pump ON; "+"- Sling Oil Pump OFF)

Step 2. Swing control lever to control the crane movement and sling up and down. ("W"-Crane Forward; "S"-Crane Backward; "P"-Sling Down; ";"-Sling Up)

Step 3. Shift the viewpoint to “Down” to ensure the sling above the bridge crane bottom beam. Forward the crane above the container needed discharging. Move the crane properly to keep the sling from swinging. Decline the sling on the container slightly and ensure four locks into the holes. Only in this way can finish the implantation. After implantation success, the detection lamp (whit lamp) is on.

Step 4. After implantation, press the lock key of upper rocker in right hand (the default unlocking lamp (green) is off and locking lamp (red) is on). Swing the rocker, lift the hatch cover locked, move the crane and ensure the bottom beam lamp is on (means sling is above the bottom beam). Hoist the container to the upper of trailer, keep it stable and put it on the trailer. The detection lamp being on means the container is stable on the trailer and the implantation is successful. ("O"-Lock Key; "{"-Unlock Key)

Step 5. After implantation, press the unlock key of the upper rocker in the right hand (the default locking lamp (red) is off and unlocking lamp (green) is on). Swing the rocker, hoist the sling and discharging is finished.

2.Press the “←” in the 3D window and the interface is as below:

Control Lever: Red button is for putting down the guide plate and green button if for withdrawing guide plate. Forward or backward the control lever to move the crane go forward or backward.

Sling Bypass: When container weight exceeds the maximum weight set but lower than the limit weight, turn on the sling bypass to hoist the container forcefully. 

Sling Zero Setting: Press the button and the sling returns to the original position, leaning and rotating angle return to 0.

Pitch Stop: Control beam pitch stop

Pitch Rise: Control beam rise

Pitch Decline: Control beam decline

3.Press the “→” in the 3D window and the interface is as below:

Control Lever: Forward or backward the control lever to control crane up and down. Swing the control lever from side to side to control cart move left or right. Some notes for moving cart: Move the crane outside the rear beam close to the repair platform and see the cart bottom. Confirm the process is normal and the whole ship can be seen. Cross the smokestack after confirming the height of beam. Red button is for locking and green if for unlocking. 

Emergency Stop: Press the button to stop when accident or emergency happens.

Failure Reset: Press the button for failure troubleshooting

ON: Power on the crane

OFF: Power off the crane 

Wheel Gripper Resetting: When the wheel gripper is normal, the lamp is on. The wheel gripper can work normally. 

Wheel Gripper Clamping: After wheel gripper clamping, the machine cannot work any longer and need to call technical personnel for maintenance.

Crane Returns to Zero: The part is indicator lamp. When the crane returns to zero, the lamp is on and the machine can be shut off. If the crane does not return to zero, it cannot be turned off. The aisle outside the crane does not align to the cart (host machine) aisle, which is very dangerous. Besides, if the aisle door is not fastened, the crane cannot start. Under normal condition, only when the crane returns to zero can turn off the sling oil pump and then driver get off through aisle. 

Buzzer: Cart moves and buzzer makes a sound.

4.Press the “↓” in the 3D window and the interface is as below:

White Indicator Lamp: Implantation indicator lamp. When four locks of sling are put into the holes correctly, the indicator lamp will be on. If not, the implantation is unsuccessful.

Red Indicator Lamp: Lock indicator lamp. When the lock is closed, the lamp will be on. Otherwise, it will be off.

Green Indicator Lamp: Unlock indicator lamp. When the lock is open, the lamp will be on. If the loack is closed, the lamp will be off and the red lamp will be on.

Yellow Indicator Lamp: Detection lamp for crossing bottom beam. When the sling height is lower than bottom beam, the lamp will be off. If higher than bottom beam, the lamp will be on.

Others

1.Before entering crane operation preparation, press the “ON” to power on, then press “Sling Oil Pump ON” to open sling oil pump. After finishing operation and need to off the machine and stopping the crane on the “Zero Position”, press the “Sling Oil Pump Off” and “OFF” button, then leave the machine.

2.During operation, use the left mouse button to select corresponding browser mode, such as “Roam” and “Translate”. In “Translate Mode”, translate with right mouse button. Combined with mouse wheel, magnify or zoom to observe each part better.

3.During shipping and discharging operation, use keyboard to control bridge crane. Users can shift five gears of crane by 0,1,2,3,4 and 5 and sling landing speed by 5,6,7,8 and 9.

4.Users select “Free Exercise” in “Exercise”, they can perform shipping and discharging shift through Z and X button during operation. If not “Free Exercise” but “Shipping Operation” or “Discharging”, Z and X button shift is ineffective.

5.During loading (Unloading) operation, the cart needs to move from A to B, or move from B to A. For the convenience of users, the system sets shortcut key for cart automatic movement in addition to manual movement. “>.”—Move from A to B. “<,”—Move from B to A.

6.“/” Button: Users operate with control lever. After inserting into USB slot, shift the left and right lever by “/” button. The left lever controls crane advance or retreat and the right lever controls sling rise) or decline. Permit two control levers to be operated synchronously at most. Left lever controls crane advance and retreat and cart leftward and rightward (Two buttons is functioned with holding back and releasing guide plate. The matched ST290 is 3 and 4 button.) Right lever controls sling rise or decline. The 3 and 4 button means unlocking and locking. The swing angle of control lever controls crane (sling) advance and retreat (rise and decline) in five gear speeds.

7.Sling Tilting: Ship tilts for some reason and so does the container. At this moment, tilt the sling to make it parallel to container top surface.

8.Sling Rotation: Parallel misalignment between ship and shore-side for some reason leads to the same case between container and shore-side. While the default is sling parallel to shore-side, this moment rotate the sling to make it align at container.

9.When users move the cart, retreat the crane back to the rear beam and close to the maintenance platform, which lets the driver see surrounding clearly to move the cart safely. 

10.Lifting Judgment: After implantation being successful and locking of container is normal, lift only when the red lamp is on. During shipping, take out the sling when the green lamp is on and the lock is open.
